As we all know, it's not always easy to find good and bike friendly cafes for us to stop at. 

So, we thought we would put together details of the coffee stops we have found on our travels, these have been provided by our members and will continue to be updated as we find more! So we recommend you come back and visit regularly.

The Honey Cafe is a cafe and restaurant, it serves breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, plus home made cakes and the likes. It's a lovely cafe, the food is excellent in choice and quality, there is seating inside and out, and there is ample level parking, but it does get very busy especially in the summer and at peak times.

Where to find it:
The Honey Cafe can be found just off the A479 from Talgarth.

The Oasis Snack Bar, Abergavenny Bus Station, Monmouth Road, Abergavenny, NP7 5HH

The Oasis snack bar is a very popular meeting place for motorcyclists, it provides takeaway snacks i.e. burgers, tea, coffee etc and has a small outside seating area and large car park, but it does get extremely busy especially on Sundays.

It's open 9am-6pm everyday, and until 8pm on weekdays in summer only.

The Granary Cafe, Broad Street, Hay-on-Wye, HR3 5DB, Tel: 01497 820790

The Granary is a cosy cafe serving good wholesome home made food, with good veggie options. There isn't any parking specifically for the cafe, it's all on street and gets very busy. 

It's open 9am - 5.30pm 7 days a week, longer hours and evening meals during Hay festival and summer holidays apply.

Where to find them:
The cafe is situated on the main road through the town which is the B4350, it's by the clock tower and is attached to the craft centre complex which is also close to the tourist information.


Abbey Mill, Wye Valley Centre, Tintern, NP16 6SE, Tel: 01291 689228

The Abbey Mill is a nice cafe serving tea/coffee and cake, plus fully cooked meals from local producers to ice-creams. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a small carpark which can get busy.

Where to find them:
The Abbey Mill can be found on the A466 in Tintern between Chepstow and Monmouth.


The Old Mill Coffee House, 7 West Street, Chipping Norton, OX7 5LH, Tel: 01608 646 005

The Old Mill is listed as a restaurant, but generally is a very nice cafe which has a good selection of tea, coffee and cakes. From review sites they also do cooked food including Sunday lunch. No specific parking is available, and it's not always easy finding a space on street, however it is worth the effort.

How to find it:
The Old Mill can be found on the left as you enter Chipping Norton from the south west on the A361.

The cafe serves hot and cold food, the car park can be a bit of a challenge as it's a bit gravelly and off camber.

The cafe is situated on the B3223 in Exmoor.


Organic Farm Shop, Abbey Home Farm, Burford Road, Cirencester, GL7 5HF, Tel: 01285 640441

This is a laid back, rustic cafe serving hot and cold food and snacks inspired from the vegetable garden surrounding the shop.

It's situated 2 miles from Cirencester off the Burford Road B4425.


Sweets Tea Rooms, Blakeway, BS28 4UE, Tel: 07830 211544

This is a family run tearoom in the middle of several nature reserves. It serves the usual array of teas, coffees and home made cakes. As their website says, they serve what their regulars have requested. They have indoor and outdoor seating which is undercover and they have plenty of parking space on level ground.

how to find them:
The sat nav post code is BS28 4UE, they are located between Wedmore and Westhay on the B3151 to Glastonbury on the Somerset Levels, they are on the tight bends after the long straights!


Shobdon Aerodrome, Leominster, HR6 9NR, Tel: 01568 708369

This is a light aircraft airfield with cafe facilities, seating both inside and out, with hot and cold snacks available.

Shobdon is found on the B4362 east of Presteigne.

Old Sarum serves hot and cold food all day on Saturday, at other times please call for details.

Old Sarum is located just off the A345 either north from Salisbury or south from Amesbury and the A303.
